The Hope Is Alive FriendStrong Program is for women of all ages based on Titus 2:3-5. It is a program that intentionally develops friendships through mentoring, among women of different generations. Women invest in the lives of each other through encouragement, guidance, listening, laughing, and loving. The goal is to form strong and lasting relationships that are a source of support, growth, and strength.

Why have a Mentoring Program?

  • The Lord commands us to tell the next generation – Psalms 145:4, 48:13, 71:18, and 78:4.
  • Teaching what we’ve learned is the Lord’s plan for growth and maturity – Titus 2:2-5.
  • Spiritual friendships are extremely valuable in a woman’s life – Proverbs 27:9and17.

Hope Is Alive FriendStrong program has partnered with the Start Right Mentoring Program to help all women who may need friendship, support, and guidance.

What is the Start Right Mentoring program?

Start Right is designed to be compatible and relevant to the mission statement and purpose of Adult and Teen Challenge. Namely, Start Right was developed by a licensed mental health counselor and an ordained minister, who understands both the faith-based and counseling aspect of the ATC program.

Start Right is a simplistic, yet statistically proven way to help mentees in with their overall emotional and mental health. Since our mission is to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.

Start Right provides a purposeful direction for mentors when meeting with mentees. There are [32] individual maps which could be used over a period of eight months.

Start Right is designed upon empirically supported practices within the substance abuse field today.
